Cyberpunk 2077 How To Get Harris IP Address Quest Steps And Clues
Navigating the complex investigation during The Hunt side job in Cyberpunk 2077 presents players with tricky technical hurdles and disturbing storylines. As V assists River Ward in tracking down the missing teenager Randy, acquiring Anthony Harris's IP address becomes a key optional objective. Understanding the proper steps, attribute requirements, and computer navigation ensures you complete this task efficiently without missing crucial details.
Finding Randy's Computer and Password
The quest leads you directly into Randy's trailer where his personal terminal is hidden underneath the bed. Accessing the computer requires either a high enough Intelligence attribute to hack the security or finding the password hidden nearby. If your hacking skill falls short, playing the record player in the bedroom reveals the password Liberum Arbitrium.
Navigating the Net to Uncover Hidden Links
Once inside the computer, open the Net tab and interact with the primary website page. Click on the main image on the Drugs Are Bad site to open the hidden sub-links associated with Anthony Harris. Navigate to the Files folder, where you will find that a required video file is missing from the web interface.
Retrieving the File and Obtaining the IP Address
Return to the main local Files tab on Randy's laptop hardware to locate and watch the cartoon file. Viewing this media triggers the prompt to trace the network origin of the file sender. If your Intelligence stat meets the scaled attribute check requirement, you can interact with the network terminal interface to successfully extract Harris's IP address.
How the IP Address Impacts the Investigation
Securing the IP address serves as an optimal shortcut during the investigation phase with River Ward. While it provides immediate digital confirmation, missing it simply forces players to rely more heavily on scanning clues during the subsequent braindance sequences. Finding all relevant evidence guarantees you identify Edgewood Farm correctly to save the victims.
